Kiriaki is 18 years old and in spring of 22’ she was diagnosed cancer of the left parotid gland. 2 months ago, Kiriaki was subjected to a surgical resection of the left parotid gland, as well as a resection of the surrounding lymph nodes, while according to the doctors who monitor her condition, she must be immediately subjected to radiation therapy sessions in a specialized, private clinic, in order to avoid the possibility of metastasis, since this type of cancer is extremely rare and aggressive.

Campaign Story

Kiriaki is an 18-year-old young girl, with so many dreams and goals for the future. However a few months ago, her life turned into a nightmare. It all started last spring, when Kiriaki started to notice that her parotid gland was swollen. Soon however, she started to experience more symptoms, such as blurry vision, dizziness and pain in the left ear and left parotid gland. She then visited an otolaryngologist, accompanied by her parents, who referred them to a diagnostic center for further tests. The results however, were devastating: cancer of the left parotid gland.

2 months ago, Kiriaki was subjected to a surgical resection of the left parotid gland, as well as a resection of the surrounding lymph nodes, while according to the doctors who monitor her condition, she must be immediately subjected to radiation therapy sessions, in order to avoid the possibility of metastasis, since this type of cancer is extremely rare and aggressive.

Due to the severity of her condition, Kiriaki must be immediately subjected to a series of targeted radiation therapy sessions, which will be performed in a specialized, private clinic. Unfortunately, her parents are unable to cope with the cost of their daughter’s treatments and they are now in a dead end.

Kiriaki is going through tough times and she immediately needs our support. If we waste any precious time, her life will be in danger. Let us all join forces and offer this young girl the chance to fight and to win the battle against cancer!
