Lefteris is 18 years old and he has been diagnosed with brain paralysis, while he has been also subjected to numerous surgical procedures, due to orthopedic abnormalities of the lower extremities. Lefteris is confined to a wheelchair and he is unable to fend for himself. He urgently requires a stair lift, which will greatly facilitate his transportation to and from his apartment.

Campaign Story

Lefteris is 18 years old and he has been diagnosed with brain paralysis, ever since he was born. When Lefteris came into this world, he was diagnosed with myelomeningocele and hydrocephalus, while he presented with orthopedic abnormalities of the lower extremities. As a result, he had to be subjected to numerous surgical procedures, ever since he was an infant.  

Lefteris never got to walk and still remains confined to a wheelchair. He is unable to fend for himself, while his mother is his sole care-giver.

About a year ago, this multi-children family came in contact with the Organization and thanks to your defining support, we have managed to provide him with the wheelchair and standing device he required.

Today However, Lefteris needs our help one more time. He requires a stair lift, which will greatly facilitate his transportation to and from his apartment, while offering him at the same time the chance to be more independent and safe.  Furthermore, his family needs our support in order to afford his medical expendables which amount to a cost that they are unable to cover.

Lefteris has been struggling ever since he came into this world. However, he never complains. He is always smiling and making plans for the future. Let us all join forces and facilitate this young fighter’s struggle, with one small gesture!
