Rafail is a 9-year-old boy, who has been facing numerous challenges since he has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. Even though the little guy has been subjected to numerous heart surgeries, he is still presenting with pulmonary artery stenosis. As a result, Rafail is exhibiting signs of hypotonia and fatigue, while he is often suffering from respiratory infections. Since there is family history of heart disease, the child’s pediatric cardiologist strongly recommends that he is urgently subjected to a whole exome sequencing test, which will allow him to select the most appropriate treatment plan.

Campaign Story

Rafail is a 9-year-old boy, who has been facing numerous challenges since he has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. Even though the little guy has been subjected to numerous heart surgeries, he is still presenting with pulmonary artery stenosis. As a result, Rafail is exhibiting signs of hypotonia and fatigue, while he is often suffering from respiratory infections.

Since there is family history of heart disease, the child’s pediatric cardiologist strongly recommends that he is urgently subjected to a whole exome sequencing test, which will allow him to select the most appropriate treatment plan. 

Rafail’s mother had reached out to ACT OF KINDNESS, since she was unable to cope with the little fighter’s ever-increasing health-related expenses. Back then, we managed to cover the needs that had arisen for the family, in view of the ongoing surgeries and hospitalizations the child had to face! Today, however, Rafail’s mother needs our help one more time, since she is unable to afford the whole exome sequencing test, nor Rafail’s and his sister’s health-related expenses, since she too has been diagnosed with heart disease. 

Little Rafail has been struggling ever since he came into this world, due to a health problem that doesn’t allow him to play, to run and to live like all children his age. Together, we have the power to help him! Any contribution can make a great difference!
