Short Story

A sudden mobility disorder of the lower extremities, changed the life of Georgios Vagiannidis, the 27-year-old young man from the city of Katerini, who, while he was perfectly healthy and living a normal life, is now daily struggling in order to regain his motor skills, to walk and to get his life back. Even though he is currently subjected to treatments, he still has a long way to go, since he must proceed with his intensive physiotherapy program for at least one more year.

Together, we keep on fighting for Georgios’ rehabilitation. The young man who is struggling to get back on his feet!

Campaign Story

It all started in September of 2021, when Georgios started to experience difficulty walking and moving his legs. He immediately went to the hospital where he underwent a series of tests in order to determine the cause of his paralysis. However, all the tests came out negative. Since he could no longer walk, he had to use a wheelchair. He was then admitted to a rehabilitation center for 3 months. During that time, his condition had shown major improvement. He no longer uses the wheelchair, while he can take a few steps using crutches. However, he still has a long way to go, since he must proceed with his intensive physiotherapy program for at least one more year.

The amount required for these life-changing treatments amounts to 3, 810, a sum that this young man cannot possibly come up with. His only support is his brother, who doesn’t have the financial ability to help him. Georgios has already spent every last dime he had, in order to settle the medical bills that where pilling up.

Together, we can offer this young man a chance to get his life back! To live a life full of health! To reclaim his social life, as well as his work life!

Let us all support Georgios so that he’ll be able to stand on his two feet and to walk again on his own!

Together, we’ve made it happen! We have successfully raised the amount required for Georgios’ treatment plan!

Within a short period of time, we have managed the impossible! Thanks to our help, Georgios Vagianidis, the young man from the city of Katerini, will be able to proceed with his physiotherapy sessions until he makes a full recovery. The amount that we have gathered is sufficient for at least 12 more months of intensive physiotherapy in a facility located in the city where he resides, that will help him regain his motor skills and walk again without assistance. On behalf of Georgios, we would like to kindly thank all of you out there for supporting his effort! We kindly thank all of you who stand by our side, making it possible for us to keep on offering our help to people in need!
Dear Georgios, we wish you strength and a speedy recovery! We will be by your side every step of the way!
