Campaign Story

For the past six years, Alexandros has been experiencing a harsh and painful reality, since he was diagnosed with a severe form of autism, when he was just 2.5 years old. Today, at the age of 8, he is still unable to speak or communicate with his surroundings, while he is suffering from high stress levels, self-harming tendencies, violent outbursts, tantrums and compulsive behavior. His mother has never left his side, taking care of him on daily basis, while visiting numerous doctors who specialize in his condition, in order to provide the best possible quality of life for her child. In spite of numerous medicinal treatments over the years, combined with limited occupational therapy sessions, Alexandros is still unable to have any kind of social interaction, which takes a great toll on his overall development and his daily life. In order for his condition to improve, it’s imperative that he is immediately subjected to an intensive speech therapy and occupational therapy program at a specialized center in the city where he resides. The total cost for Alexandros treatments amounts to 6.100 Euros. These treatments are of the essence, in order for him to have a better future!
