Campaign Story

Taxiarchis has been diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex and severe hemophilia since he was just 2.5 years old. His life has become a daily struggle. These two rare conditions are taking a toll on the little guy’s health, who frequently suffers from myoclonic seizures, while he is unable to speak or walk on his own. His psychokinetic development is very different from children his age. For the past 7 months, we have stood by Taxiarchis’ side, while we have managed to settle the bills for his entire treatment program, to which he is responding extremely well. However, it’s imperative that he proceeds with his intensive speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy sessions that aim to improve his speech and motor skills, as well as his overall intellectual ability.This little boy’ struggle in order to stand on his feet, to take his first steps, to say his first words and to have a normal life, is hard and painful. Taxiarchis needs us by his side, since his family cannot possibly afford the cost of his treatments. Let us all join forces and embrace this little boy! Together, we can offer to one more child a chance for a better life!
