The Organization’s revenue comes solely from the sales of our magazine, along with donations and sponsorships made by private benefactors.

Each time you make a deposit to our bank accounts, you are offering assistance to a person in need. At the same time, you are supporting the Organization’s effort, while you are also contributing to the Organization’s operating costs, which are essential in order to maintain its existence. If you wish to offer financial assistance to a specific campaign, you must write down the title of the campaign in the reference field. This way, your donation will be used specifically for that cause.

The donations that are being made without any reference are being used in order to support registered members and isolated cases, whose information don’t go public (e. g. purchase of essential items and clothing, payment for doctor bills and purchase of medical equipment in case of a health condition).

After the deposit has been made, you must send us a message at info@praxiagapis.gr  or via Facebook, including the date of the deposit, your full name and the transaction copy, so that our representatives can send you a digital receipt. 

You can donate essential items (long-life milk, pasta, food cans, detergent, baby wipes, diapers, etc.), clothing and footwear (as long as they remain in good condition), toys, school supplies, medical equipment and orthopedic devices, that will be distributed by our fellow citizens in need. 

All items can be donated in communication with our representatives, by the following ways:

by bringing them to our facilities.

by having them picked up by your home.

The registered members, who reside in Thessaloniki, can receive assistance by visiting our facilities. In case a member resides in another city, the distribution of the donated goods is carried out by representatives of the Organization with the use of our vehicles.

Your application will be reviewed by the competent department that will inform you regarding the results. 

The frequency of the provided assistance depends on the needs of the registered members, as well as the quantity of the donated products.

The Organization consists of both employees and volunteers, who daily offer their services, in order to support its operation and development. These people possess various skills, knowledge and experience and they provide great value to our effort to create a better society. Our team doesn’t solely consist of employees or volunteers, but it also consists of all these people who support our effort and believe in our vision!

The Organization is being led by an Administrative Board that determines its proper and seamless operation.

Till this day, the Organization does not receive any sort of funding by the state nor the EU.
