Today, all forms of violence against women are being prosecuted!
If you know any women who are being subjected to violence and remain silent, you must encourage them to come forward and contact the nearest police station.
In you are the one who is being victimized:
- Call 911 or visit the nearest police station.
- Visit a doctor in order to receive medical care and undergo a forensic examination. You must always be honest with your doctor.
- Call the 15900 SOS help line of the General Secretariat for Family Policy and Gender Equality, in order to receive their services, such as legal counseling, psychological support and safe housing.
