The story of Michail-Pantelis

Michail-Pantelis Karidis is a young man from Rhodes who urgently needs our help. On June 9 th of 2020, he was involved in a car accident that changed his life forever. After sustaining massive craniocerebral injuries he was rushed to the ICU of the University General Hospital of Heraklion, where he remained hospitalized for 8 months in a vegetative state. He was then diagnosed with spastic quadriplegia and since then he remains confined to a bed. The attending doctors recommended that he were transferred to a specialized rehabilitation clinic, in order to regain his movement and communication skills. The young man’s medical records have been thoroughly evaluated by the organization’s pediatrician, Mrs. Noula Paraskevi. Following the doctors’ orders, the young man was admitted to a specialized rehabilitation clinic in Larissa, in order to receive the proper treatments. His family keeps on fighting so that Michail-Pantelis can receive the necessary treatments and make a full recovery. However, the monthly cost amounts to 2,000 euros, a sum that his family cannot afford without our help. Let us all support Michail-Pantelis throughout this ordeal!!
