Campaign Story

Eleni is a 32-year-old mother of four, who has been struggling with anorexia nervosa for the past 2 years. She now weighs just 40 kilos, while she was recently diagnosed with esophageal achalasia, a severe disorder of the esophageal sphincter. Her condition is considered critical and it needs to be treated immediately. 

Recently, Eleni visited a specialized center for eating disorders, where after a thorough evaluation of her condition, the physicians there recommended her immediate admission, in order to be subjected to further diagnostic tests, as well as to a treatment program, which goal is to restore normal eating patterns and by extension, her overall health.

Unfortunately, Eleni doesn’t have the means to cope with the cost of the tests and treatments, since due to her health condition, she had no other choice but to let go of her job.

Eleni is fighting against time. Day by day, her health is deteriorating. Her children need her mother by their side, happy and healthy! Any contribution, could save this woman’s life!
