<p>We stand by Vasilis, the 25-year-old man who is struggling to get back on his feet!<br />
Vasilis has always been a driven and energetic young man, filled with dreams for the future. His life however turned upside down in the summer of 20’, when he suffered a car accident. Even though the doctors managed to save his life, Vasilis sustained severe craniocerebral injuries, which caused motor impairment to his lower extremities. Vasilis had to stay in the hospital for 4 whole months, where he was also being subjected to a physical rehabilitation medicine program. When he returned home, he wasn’t able to proceed with his physiotherapy treatments due to financial hardship.<br />
For the past 2 and a half years, Vasilis has been going through an ordeal. He is unable to work or fend for himself, however he has gradually managed to take a few steps while using his crutches. According to the neurologist who monitors his condition, the damage he has suffered is thankfully reversible. However, as months go by, the chances of recovery are getting slimmer. If Vasilis is immediately admitted to a rehabilitation center, he will have the chance to be subjected to an intensive physiotherapy plan, which means that he’ll soon be able to get back on his feet! Unfortunately, neither Vasilis nor his family has the means to cover the cost of his stay at the rehabilitation center.<br />
Vasilis wants to be immediately subjected to this treatment program, in order to become more autonomous. To be able to work again! To get his life back! The only thing he needs from us is just one chance. Together, we can offer him this chance!</p>

25-year-old Vasilis needs to be immediately admitted to a rehabilitation center!

<p>Vasilis’ life turned upside down 3 years ago, when he sustained severe craniocerebral injuries resulting from a car accident. Ever since the accident, he has been unable to work or fend for himself, while he can only take a few steps with the help of his crutches.<br />
According to the neurologist who monitors his condition, the damage he has suffered is thankfully reversible. However, as months go by, the chances of recovery are getting slimmer. If Vasilis is immediately admitted to a rehabilitation center, he will have the chance to be subjected to an intensive physiotherapy plan, which means that he’ll soon be able to get back on his feet!<br />
Thanks to your immediate response, we have managed to raise the sum of 11.409 Euros. Only if we join forces, will we be able to gather the remaining 20.883 Euros that are required for his admission!<br />
Vasilis wants to fend for himself like he used to. He wants to go back to work! He wants to get his life back! The only thing he is asking for is one chance. Together, we can offer him that chance!</p>

Once more, a motorcycle rendered a young man quadriplegic!

<p>He is unable to work or fend for himself. The accident caused severe injuries to his lower extremities. The only steps towards his independence, have only been a few steps with his crutches…<br />
According to the neurologist who has been treating him, his condition is reversible. However, as days go by, the road to recovery becomes more and more difficult, while taking a great toll on Vasilis’ body, who had to quit his treatments due to financial hardship.<br />
He got informed about the Organization by various acquaintances and he finally found hope. He is eagerly waiting for the day where he will be admitted to the rehabilitation center and fight in order to get back on his feet.<br />
If he soon proceeds with this treatment program, he will eventually walk. We have launched an aid campaign on his behalf, which will ensure his stay at the center for 6 months.<br />
At 22 years of age, he had it all. He was healthy, he was working, he was self-sufficient. Now, he needs our shoulder to lean on, just for a little while, until he gets his strength back.<br />
We know that Vasilis can count on you!<br />
