Nikolas is a 6-year-old who has been diagnosed with diffuse developmental disorders.  Ever since the age of 2, the little guy is being subjected to an intensive program of speech therapy and occupational therapy, and even though he is able to produce speech, he isn’t able to engage in dialogue, while he keeps on repeating the same words over and over. After the developmental pediatrician’s recommendations, the parents have scheduled Nikolas’ admission to a specialized center abroad, where he will be subjected to an intensive treatment program, which aims to improve his cognitive skills and by extension, his quality of life.

Together, we stand by little Nikolas, who needs to be transferred abroad as soon as possible!

Campaign Story

Nikolas is a 6-year-old who has been diagnosed with diffuse developmental disorders.  When the little guy was just 13 months, his mother began to realize that the child wouldn’t respond to his name, while he always seemed shut in his own world. Time went by, but Nikolas’ condition wouldn’t show any improvement. At some point, the parents referred to a developmental pediatrician, who diagnosed him on the autism spectrum. Ever since the age of 2, the little guy has been subjected to an intensive program of speech therapy and occupational therapy, and even though he is now able to produce speech, he isn’t able to engage in dialogue, while he keeps on repeating the same words over and over.

After the developmental pediatrician’s recommendations, the parents have scheduled Nikolas’ admission to a specialized center abroad, where he will be subjected to an intensive treatment program, which aims to improve his cognitive skills and by extension, his quality of life.    Unfortunately, little Nikolas’ family is unable to cope with the cost of these treatments, which are necessary for the child’s overall development.

Little Nikolas has been deprived of so much of his childhood. The only thing he wants is to be able to play and communicate like all the other children his age. Let us offer him the chance to do this. Together, we can make it happen!
