Filippos is an adorable three-month-old baby, who was born with a cleft lip and palate. According to the craniofacial plastic surgeon who has evaluated his condition, the child needs to be subjected, as soon as possible, to two consecutive reconstruction surgeries. If this anatomic abnormality isn’t surgically treated, the child will not be able to reach the desired weight, since the cleft is causing feeding problems, while he will be facing severe speech problems in the future.



Baby Filippos needs to be immediately subjected to a surgical repair of the cleft lip and palate and he needs our support!

Campaign Story

Filippos is an adorable little boy, who is called to overcome a lot of challenges, since he was born with a cleft lip and palate. When the little guy came into this world, he had to remain in the ICU for a whole month, in order to be subjected to the required tests, and when he was finally discharged, the doctors referred the parents to a craniofacial plastic surgeon, according to whom, the child needs to be subjected, as soon as possible, to two consecutive reconstruction surgeries. If this anatomic abnormality isn’t surgically treated, the child will not be able to reach the desired weight, since the cleft is causing him feeding problems, while he will be facing severe speech problems in the future.

The cost of the two surgeries and the child’s hospitalization is unbearable and the two young parents have found themselves in a dead end. They recently came in contact with ACT OF KINDNESS and after a thorough inquiry conducted by our medical and social department, we organized this aid campaign which will allow our little friend to get rid of this anatomic abnormality once and for all, and to claim the future he deserves!

Little Filippos came into this world 3 months ago, and he is already called to overcome so many obstacles. We have the power to offer him access to the surgeries he so desperately needs and to offer him a life without any health problems. Together, for little Filippos!
