Giorgos-Savvas is a four-month-old boy who has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) and who needs to be immediately subjected to a heart surgery. His mother has already come in contact with a private clinic in Athens, while her health insurance provider has already agreed to cover the cost of the surgery. His family however, is unable to cope with the cost of their transportation and lodging in Athens. As a result, the surgery keeps on getting postponed.

Campaign Story

Giorgos-Savvas is a four-month-old boy who has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. When the little guy came into this world, he seemed perfectly healthy. However, a few days later, his mother started to notice a distinct sound when she would listen to his heart, while the baby was also exhibiting difficulty breathing and sweating during feeding time. His mother began to worry and contacted their pediatrician, who, after performing a series of tests, informed the mother that her son was suffering from a congenital heart defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) and that he needed to be immediately subjected to a heart surgery.

Giorgos-Savvas’ mother has already come in contact with a private clinic in Athens, while her health insurance provider has already agreed to cover the cost of the surgery. His family however, is unable to cope with the cost of their transportation and lodging in Athens. As a result, the surgery keeps on getting postponed.

Giorgos-Savvas’ life is in danger. He is only 4-months-old. We cannot turn our backs on him. Let us all join forces and stand by this little guy, who needs to fight for his life at such a young age!
