Campaign Story

Michail is an adorable three year old, who is suffering from hepatoblastoma (liver cancer). Last October, and while he was perfectly healthy, the little guy developed high fever, while his belly was distended for days. His parents started to worry, therefore they immediately contacted their pediatrician. After being subjected to a series of tests, as well as a biopsy, he was diagnosed with stage 4 hepatoblastoma. Little Michalis was immediately subjected to chemotherapy, while a month ago, he was also subjected to a surgical resection of most of his liver.

Currently, the little guy is recovering from surgery and chemo, however he still has a long way ahead of him, since he needs to be subjected to further tests and additional treatments.

Michails’ parents have never left his side throughout this ordeal, doing everything in their power in order to soothe their little boy, who has been experiencing the severe side effects of the chemo treatments. They have however, reached a dead end, since they cannot longer afford their son’s health-related expenses, such as the constant trips to and from their hometown, as well as the cost of the expendables he requires.

Little Michail is going through hard times, however he is not giving up. He keeps on smiling and fighting with persistence. So let us all join forces and facilitate this family’s struggle, with one small gesture. Together, we can make it happen!
